I understand some DLP Fans love Rosie and Louis due to the waltz and I respect that. This show however didn’t work for me - Rosie and Louis’ visual identities have been eroded so it could be literally ANY OTHER MC. There are SO many characters and nothing happening SMH DLP

I still don’t get why we weren’t satisfied with Mickey, Minnie and Santa. You could make a case for getting Donald and Daisy involved, but this year it’s too crowded.

I like that they wanted to think big. I like that they know people like princesses. I very much dislike when distwitter tears apart stage characters / MCs (as is the case with Betty and Jimmy) but Rosie and Louis are quite misused here. It’s all a bit unnecessary...

My favourite Xmas tree lighting show was 2013 without any stage and characters. But I realise I’m probably in a very small minority here. I just found the show so magical that year

This is the first year I’ve bothered to check out the tree lighting ceremony at all. Im glad it’s there. And in a time of cuts the shows that survived have all seen sizeable additions (well done DLP ) but this in particular is a one and done for me personally (and that’s ok)
