At face value #Riverdale is a loosely written, trope heavy show propped up by (mostly) run-of-the-mill acting, yet it somehow manages to coalesce into such a bewildering & nonsensical blend that I can’t help but watch it each week to lap up the spectacle of wherever it goes next.
I’ve can’t even count the amount of times I’ve exclaimed “this show is ridiculous” while watching it. 
Actually I think this week’s episode is by far the most amount of times I’ve said it in one episode. Producers: so how crazy are we going with episode 3? Writers: yes
