Just saw the news that the legend that is Reggie Fils-Aimé is retiring. I still remember opening my copy of Nintendo Official Magazine UK when he first took over as president in the states and thinking he seemed like a cool dude. He has indeed been a cool dude.

Just heard about this, gutted to hear it. One thing Reggie (and the late, great Iwata) did was bring so much personality and fun to Nintendo. You could tell he was having a blast. It’s going to be strange not seeing him pop up every so often.

Agreed so much. The fact that bringing fun to Nintendo often meant it was at his own expense, just shows you the type of character he is. Business smart, but knew not to talk himself too seriously. A lesson many entertainment company presidents could learn to follow from really.
