Yeah the communication about needing to go the Expo tent for the challenge medals was all very last minute and very easy to miss. They should've put something in the envelope with the bib to let people know.

Or just some signs. Simple stuff really, but would save a lot of frustration. The lateness of the bib collection vouchers being emailed also seemed unnecessary, and just created more admin for themselves. Hopefully lessons learned, because the runs, medals and tshirts are great!

The miscommunication about the timings for the kids’ race aside. Security-wise it was much better this year with the double checking of parent tags. Last year I just remember having a child passed to me across a barrier - thankfully it was the right one
