Fun story: At University one of my modules was about cinematography. We had to write 2 essays, both about the same subject, the 2nd essay just had a longer word limit. I was so hooked on WoW at the time that I left the 2nd essay to the very last minute, just re-used the 1st essay

and extended it a bit to meet the new word limit. Then I got done for plagiarism... for plagiarism myself.
Funnier part of it is, if I hadn't done that, it would've meant I got a First instead of a 2:1 overall. But even funnier part is, look where I ended up.

I did a major in Media & Sociology with a minor in Psychology. The degree was pretty much sold to me as mostly practical work but it ended up being about 90% theories of old men who were very angry with the world

Ahh interesting. Having cinematography in there is pretty cool. ...double essays aside hehe. It seems like those fields are more susceptible to lecturers influence.

Aye it was in the 2nd year and there was a bit of x-over with the film studies course. I think the other module was Ethics & Regulation in Political Campaigns, which in hindsight sounds far more interesting, but at the time I took cinematography because I thought it'd be easy
