My dad is 80, he used to walk our little dog every morning, just a few miles.
Today dad told me no one talks to him on his walks anymore they just look funny at him, but everyone talked to him when he had the dog.

Yeah I can understand, losing a dog always leaves a big hole, and it's so sad that people don't even say hello to him anymore. Hopefully you both find a new little pupper!
