    Current discussions around coronavirus preprints highlight the strength of preprints rather than a weakness. It’s thanks to the open-access nature of preprints that other scientists are able to properly evaluate the claims right away, do their own analyses, and suggest caution.

    While researchers have a duty to share info honestly & others to point out inaccurate info having this process be transparent & quick is most important for gaining public trust. Otherwise the conspiracy theories will continue to erode public opinion
