As a physician and public health person I find this ruling very disappointing So many Americans have been poisoned with vaccine misinformation Mandates work to protect them and those around them This ruling will mean more suffering, more deaths, and more overwhelmed hospitals

As a law student I find the ruling reassuring because it was clear to me the day the mandate came out that it’s unconstitutional. Find a way to do your job without authoritarian overreach.

Agree. SCOTUS has halted one of the most effective tools in the fight against further transmission & death. Pleased by ruling on healthcare workers, but disappointed to see OSHA vaccination/testing standard blocked.

36% of workers in the private sector are covered by mandates (& many more are vaccinated anyway), 95% or more of all active service members are vaccinated & 100% of healthcare workers who provide Medicare & Medicaid services soon will be. That’s an awful lot of people.
