From everything I know, the AZ vaccine is a good vaccine that I would be comfortable having my family get From everything I know, AZ's incompetence at communicating trial results, working with regulatory agencies, etc. is stunning That's what we are seeing on display

yes it was found not to be an issue- (Blood Clots are not an issue with AZ https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/22/astrazeneca-coronavirus-vaccine-79percent-effective-in-us-trial.html …https://www.bbc.com/news/health-56447367 …

You would take a product or a vaccine that the manufacturer couldn't present honest and coherent data? This is asking way too much of people at this point. We have enough of the other vaccines introducing this vaccine is just more fuel for the antivax fire.

A very interesting perspective. I wonder - Were they remiss in that from the outset, and in an unqualified sense, or is it that for whatever reason, less than rational "attacks" have been made which AZ were not expecting & not prepared for and have failed to step up to defend?

Yesterday's AZ press release clearly said it was 'interim' data - what communication problem do you think there was? I suspect the issue is just that AZs at cost vaccine doesn't leave any budget for PR/ lobbying.

And why do you think several governments in Europe pulled it, despite the massive impact to trust that would have? AZ needs to stop massaging it’s data and playing games with regulators, all of whom are already out on a limb authorizing these vaccines without full data.
