Only a handful of #MPOX cases this year, until now 10 new #MPOX cases in 3 weeks β€’ All 10 in London β€’ 5 unvaccinated, 2 partly vaccinated β€’ 5 acquired #MPOX in the UK, 4 acquired abroad MPOX has not gone away. Still circulating in the UK & abroad.

It still boggles my mind that anyone thought a TB jab would be protective against SC2. As the authors themselves say: this reinforces the importance of randomised trials for interventions, especially during emergencies.
