But worth highlighting that whilst this outbreak has been declared over, Africa still has huge numbers of Mpox cases...so vaccines/therapeutics should still be researched and funded!

It still boggles my mind that anyone thought a TB jab would be protective against SC2. As the authors themselves say: this reinforces the importance of randomised trials for interventions, especially during emergencies.
