    I saw Crazy Rich Asians finally! - I cried a million times - I’ve never heard so many people laugh in a theater before - I still liked the book better because I’m a hopeless bibliophile 🤷🏼‍♀️ - Unfortunate Black cultural appropriation :/

    This is the first book I’ve read that addresses class and racism in this way; most books focus on white enslavers and high-ranking politicians vs the enslaved/share croppers/working class Black ppl or are less-specific, just taking white people as the entire identity group.
