    Which leads us to our second update. ArviZ 0.5.1 has been released. It includes speedups, as well as many new diagnostics, both contributed by Aniruddha and Oriol respectively. Update your installations!

    ArviZ has two new Core Contributors. Aniruddha Banerjea and Oriol Abril Pla. Both were students during GSOC and were great contributors even before that. We think their summer went quite well and we're thrilled that they decided to join the team

    You're right, definitely forgot to advertise the Open Source sprint at Scipy 2019. Show up on Saturday and there will plenty of helpful people that will get you find ways to help out with Open Source

    And, said he forgot to advertise that the main goal in the Sprint is to expand the example gallery here:

    Excited for my first in Austin! I'll be attending all tutorials Bayesian, , and network analysis. On the 10th to 12th, I'll learn with a number of talks/posters, and then come to the SciPy Sprints over the weekend. Such a full-course meal! 🍖🌮🎺
