Despite an annual income tax relief of Rs. 97,000 Crore given to the smaller tax payers and a Rs. 80,000 Crore relief given to the GST assesses, tax collections have gone up. Rates of taxes, both direct and indirect have been reduced, but tax collections have gone up.

Every thing is working but what's about the GST site . The total capacity of gst site is 150000 only . Is it fine ? You are in love with penalties, you implemented it on Itax , MCA & worst for GST. The total revenue can go up to 150000 crore a month if u implement it rightly. 1/3

If tax collections has increased, pl reduce tax for middle-class ppl. Relax tax base upto 5lakhs. Make 5.1-10L 10% 10.1-15L 15%. 15.1-25L 20%. Thereafter flat 30%. Many of us struggle to experience d joy of minimum comforts in life before retirement

Thanks Rita I am also a hard core Modi man. But i am also small economics reader who believe that govt funds should be used properly. I will support if the funds are used for education but that is not the case. We all want 2019 2024 for Modi ji.

cess is applied on tax. a 1% increase on the highest rate of 30% is just 0.3% of the total income, which is peanuts.
