    Yassssss finally art talk on twitter about something I care passionately about: perspective!!!!! The only rigid rule I keep is a consistent horizon line, and as long as shit converges to that line you can have as many points as you want.

    Triangles are fine, especially for static/organic models (e.g. rocks, trees etc.) which often benefit from being more triangulated in terms of squeezing every last bit of optimization from your mesh budget. Deforming characters, knees/elbows etc. should be quads; easier to rig.

    Not all material studies have to be spheres! Have fun with them. This wings material study from Kudo Artist is a good example of how to push that and improve at texturing

    Having a growth mindset is a good thing you can have for success. One way to build that: when you encounter struggles, instead of focusing on complaining solely about those instead think about what can be done to move forward and solutions.

    Dang. Huge loss. Thoughts to Kobe’s whole family and friends. He was one of the greats. Seeing his focus shift to his family and other projects after retiring was amazing. Moments like this watching games this season was the best. Spend time with those you love and enjoy.
