Running 60 FPS at 1920x1080 feels NIIIIICE! A major milestone was just hit in AQWorlds Mobile development... the team solved a major issue which was blocking production and the first "production ready" armors were converted. I got to load up a PC version of the new client to try.

Breaking news! We hired a new UI/UX dev onto the AQWorlds Mobile (which is a weird thing to call it since it is cross-platform) project. Our top priority is still client-server sync stuff.

I unearthed my 20 year old desktop from storage. Yes, I duct taped a hard drive in like that. >_> ...because you can fix anything with duct tape. O_o Also, after 20 years it boots and runs perfectly. Press F for respect.

Serious Question: Is it alright for game devs to block users who just posting things to be hurtful? I have always tried to keep my feed open so I can hear every voice. But, there are just a few whose aim is not sincere criticism, but to inflict personal attacks. Not healthy.

Last week was pretty big for AdventureQuest Worlds:Mobile. With the new foundation, a lot of the /facedesk worthy bugs were eradicated. The characters are looking really nice too! Plus momentum on the new dialog cutscene system.

This week's AQWorlds:Mobile meeting is happening right now as I type this. The characters are looking pretty spot on! The resolution is higher, which makes the raster-art lines thinner, but it is super smooth and nice. Warlic got the color customization solution is working too!

Had a breakthrough in AdventureQuest Worlds: Mobile today! A most unexpected combination Flash JSFL, Photoshop Droplets, and Unity shader compositing to solve our color customization challenge... keep your fingers crossed, but I think we got it!

The Mobile/Steam recreation of AdventureQuest Worlds is hitting a major milestone today. The team finished the Dragon's Lair with all the working parts. Internal testing on PC and Android with the inevitable massive bug fixes starts today. Getting closer.

Ran into a massive color customizable armor, skin layering, advanced shading issue with AQWorlds mobile. Spent the morning exploring solutions with Warlic. The unique things we did effortlessly in Flash are really hard to replicate in other systems. Unrelated... sneak peek art

AQWorlds:Mobile Update! The team is currently building and breaking things faster than they can fix them. Which, in my game dev experience means... lots of good forward progress :D Combat is stabilizing and I have been working with Reens on the quest flow & interface.
