i just watched a teenager. a fucking kid. explain to a room of old white men in missouri that what they're trying to do will ruin her life. she had incredible composure. went into detail about the harm i'm seeing red

i realize it has to be done and i'm in no way second guessing the tactics of those fighting for trans kids but the thing where every state rolls out a hateful bill and then trans people basically beg for their lives on TV in front of these legislatures is fucking brutal to watch

Being polite is going to get us fucking killed. I *need* to see some cis people using their license to be angry in public here and raising their voices to power and banging some tables or we're so beyond fucked.

Like that dad that's circulating right now didn't yell and I'm kinda mad he didn't because tactically, a dad yelling about his daughter is probably the easiest way to weaponize the patriarchal system against itself
