I think I like the AI apocalypse fantasy because unlike zombies or nukes it's a future we can't fully imagine the implications of, and its horrors will be new That's kind of inspiring when half the planet seems to just want to do Nazis again

See I remember when that series was actually survival advice for unlikely but possible situations. It's how I learned to minimize chances of being shot if you're in a shooting and can't get to cover (weave back and forth)

Fun fact, I think one of the last of those books that came out was a "Romance Survival Guide" that got harshly roasted for one of the survival tips being how to detect a stealth trans woman

Multistatic radar is the best way to defeat the stealth technology all trans women come equipped with. That, or wait for Trans Day Of Visibility, so named because the stealth system goes offline for 24 hours for maintenance.
