Like for most people I think prison is one of our worst fears. I had a friend who got marked as a domestic terrorist early in life

He lived in a family which was super redneck and had guns so he had access to explosives and made them for fun

And at one point kept a bomb in the school, because he was using the chemistry lab to work on it. He got caught and his life was over

I mean he was charged as a juvenile but any chance of a legit career was gone. I'm sure he's a criminal now because what else to do?

Anyway I visited him while he was in jail and it was awful, he was so alone. If I was him I would totally have joined up w organized crime

Right. I don't think organized crime is stupid at all. It may be evil but it isn't stupid. It's trying to go it alone that seems awful
