My mom talked abt being uncomfortable with it but tbh she probably mainly didn't bc we were too old to need it when we moved there

But it was v normalized among 1st-gen Asian-American families, more so than white families (in my own experience)

I've never hired any kind of domestic help and the idea of doing so makes me uncomfortable but I benefit from cheap labor all kinds of ways
