It bears repeating that all of the MeToo personal allegations against Chris Avellone aside, it does seem to be primarily for professional reasons he and Obsidian parted ways in the end For all that he was beloved by fans he was hated by bosses for intrinsically related reasons

Yeah, while these games certainly demonstrate the principle it's certainly not intentional and doesn't work to the advantage of their creators the way it does for other kinds of media
