Also- storage for physical books, and moving/relocating. I had to get rid of tons of books because moving so many was a strain on my damaged spine. I've also had to move multiple times as rent has climbed. And repurchasing all those books in digital format costs money too.

I’ve wanted to read- & write books. But after working my stressful, monstrous with productivity & perfect quality requirements clerical job, I have little life the end of the day. The job one male boss declared he “wouldn’t hire men” for. Probably due to it’s pathetic pay

Especially given that a lot of the libraries of the wealthy are purchased as props through books by the foot services. 15 feet of distressed classics, to get the feeling they've been read will get you a 75" TV. I'm not wealthy, but just the books under my TV cost more than it.
