Regardless of whether or not the X-Men will ever be in the MCU, I do kind of wonder if adamantium, the metal, will ever be canon

I mean in the comics it's just a mixed alloy of vibranium and iron so like in theory you should already be able to make it if you're in the MCU

The comics quickly learned that any comic book sold better if you put Wolverine in it somehow and the MCU is eager to repeat the experiment on the big screen

Comics Wolverine was always short-man representation (he was originally supposed to be 5'3", he's named after a wolverine because they're relatively small but vicious predators) and his fans were salty that they cast a 6'2" guy to play him
