Comics Wolverine was always short-man representation (he was originally supposed to be 5'3", he's named after a wolverine because they're relatively small but vicious predators) and his fans were salty that they cast a 6'2" guy to play him

I'm more interested in who they cast as Gambit and whether they'll allow him to speak in the third person like in the 90s X-MEN cartoon than anything to do with Wolverine.
