This is like a scientifically precise self-own Ben Shapiro, himself, is doing exactly what I would make up if I were writing a comedy script trying to cruelly mock Ben Shapiro EXACTLY

Going to Home Depot and buying a single fucking piece of wood because not only does he actually not do any kind of manual labor he doesn't even have a clear idea of what it would look like if he did

AND he's a cheapskate who's willing to do this stupid stunt for a video but not willing to invest anything in it, like paying $70 for an actual power tool "How much would it cost to just buy a small board, that I can carry around like a man would"

"Yeah I'm uhhh doing my part to 'support' Home Depot for standing up to the wokes, the $5 I spent on this piece of scrap lumber will send their stock price soaring"

my big question is, why is he brandishing the receipt like is he afraid people will think he just drove to the home depot parking lot with a spare piece of lumber he had lying around

I guess that's why he didn't buy an actual tool, even a cheap one like a screwdriver That would be admitting that he doesn't already own one and is therefore unmanly Whereas he can pretend this piece of wood is for some kind of ongoing carpentry project

Imagining him thinking through "What would a guy who REGULARLY shops at Home Depot, NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME, need to buy more of and wouldn't already have"

He could have bought caulk. Something always needs caulking. But that would require he know what caulk is.

The last time I was personally in Home Depot I was part of a large group of people who were there to buy gloves, masks and HEPA filters But I guess for Ben that would be mixed messaging

Last time I was there it was to buy a drill because mine died. He could have bought a power tool since they do wear out but I suspect he doesn't know enough about them to get that.

He could've even bought an expensive power tool and then immediately returned it still in the box But was probably worried the cashier would then leak this occurrence to the liberal woke media
