i mean it was pretty clear before that x-men didn't exist in the "canon" at all, nor did the Marvel Netflix, and the Incredible Hulk was VERY broad strokes at best.

To be fair, the Netflix Marvel canon is not unsuitable for Disney Plus (in the States at least, since outside of it we have the Star tile instead of Hulu).

And now they've made a deal with Sony to bring in the Spider-Man movies. Of course that was going to happen. Spidey is literally the most popular Marvel character. They were going to work out that deal sooner or later.
