Some years ago, I rewatched Rosemary's Baby. Something seemed off, & finally I realized, it just seemed ridiculous that she didn't have a job. They weren't even TTC at the beginning of the movie. When I saw it as a kid that was just normal.

(way off topic, but I feel compelled to mention that the husband was in the rarely-depicted position of being an actor making a decent living but not famous, even though I don't think that's why it struck me)

Something that bothers me when I think back on it is that I was around 10, budding feminist. And it caused me to say things like "Of course I'm worried about prejudice against men too." like that was a real thing.
