Yeah, but it certainly implies something.

I could bike to work if I had enough money to afford the housing near my work. The fact that I can't implies I lack money.

That second tweet is garbage but I don't think he is wrong? It's been pretty accepted that Americans are too sedentary.

Maybe, but the importance of this has possibly been overblown:https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2021/01/21/959140732/just-move-scientist-author-debunks-myths-about-exercise-and-sleep …

If I biked to work, I’m 100% sure I would crash and die. At least I’d be happy when it happened??

I used to bike 13 miles to and from work. I had more than one dangerous accident. I fucking *love* biking, but I gave it and my bike up several years ago because due to motorists (and my failing vision) it was absolutely unsafe.

Yeah, their conclusion is bunk. Tons of plausible possible causes. Bikes and close housing are verrrry expensive, being able to bike rules out many preexisting issues, etc etc.
-
Not to mention the sort of people who would *choose* to bike are already likely to be healthier people. Might as well try to get a study published showing the correlation between fitness instructors and being physically fit. Bet there's a very high correlation there!
