(The fact that the rejoinder to this argument is "Well just don't use the gamma rays, then, stupid! It was the gamma rays that were the problem!" is why comic books are dumb and people who care about them, like myself, are dumb)

I mean, if he could kill the Hulk, I’m sure he would. Karli is worth paying attention to bc she was trying to make more super soldiers.

The fact that Bruce "cured" himself and Professor Hulk seems like a decent trustworthy dude is another counterexample to Zemo's whole argument But one that opens up this gigantic can of worms about how all of Bruce's character development has had to be offscreen and handwavy

Is there any reason why? Or did both the prior Hulk movies (Bana and Norton) do bad, and scare the producers away from trying another with the current actor?

The movies doing bad is a factor in why this situation hasn't been resolved, but the actual reason why there are no more Hulk movies is Universal continues to hold the distribution rights to any Hulk feature films

Back when Marvel Studios was just a studio and relied on other companies as distributors this was no big deal But Marvel is now owned by Disney, which insists on being the distributor for all the movies they make, and will never do anything to throw money to a competitor

hence the fact that peggy carter gets *talked about* all the time, but the actual series she was a star of has disappeared down the memory mousehole

It’s available on Disney+ now, which I think is where all Marvel stuff will eventually land.

This is more of a concern for Netflix Marvel, which is the same thing -- MCU properties distributed by a company that is now one of Disney's chief rivals thanks to Disney+ Agent Carter was broadcast on ABC, a channel Disney owns, so that's not that big an issue

I think Netflix had a lot more clout when writing up their streaming deals than the other streaming platforms Everything that was on Hulu and Amazon Prime, Disney has been able to claw back and put on Disney+

But everything they let Netflix get their hands on, whether originally created for Netflix (the Defenders shows) or rebroadcast on Netflix for streaming (Agents of SHIELD) Netflix is still holding hostage in their basement

IIRC, Agent Carter was cancelled not because of executive fiat, but because the ratings had dropped like a rock. They went from 7 million on the first episode to 2.3 million at the end of the second season. Marvel wanted to continue it, ABC said no.

looking back at agent carter, my evaluation is: --just incredible performance by atwell, show up for that alone --wonderfully period production design --the plotting was a bit iffy!
