I don’t even remember who she is in that movie

She's the biotech researcher who builds the Vision's body with the 3D bioprinter. Yes, WANDAVISION did completely forget how the Vision was supposed to have been constructed, why do you ask?

Clearly, the reason why Helen Cho is never so much as mentioned after this despite her pivotal role is because she breaks the core assumptions about how technology in the MCU works. Her entire concept hinges on the idea of Stark-like tech being practically obsolete already.

The Cradle is interesting because it makes the action-movie way they treat injuries both more and less realistic More realistic in that when they *want* a mere flesh wound to be shrugged off without even a scar by the next scene, now that makes sense

Less realistic in that when they *don't* want this to happen because it's a significant plot injury, now there's an explicit plot hole

I mean I guess it makes sense that Rhodey's paralysis is the kind of thing the Cradle couldn't magically heal but you know They didn't even bring it up, they'd forgotten about it

(The Wakandans explicitly do have the ability to heal this kind of injury but they don't share)

It's weird that we had Rhodey's cameo in the first episode of F&WS and then he just kind of wanders off, right?

He and Sam are fellow Air Force officers, they keep in touch

Oh sure, I mean, it's plausible enough in an in-universe sense, and I guess they only had Cheadle for a scene or two. But it seems like they burned it off on something pretty miscellaneous.

FaWS was originally going to be the big introduction to the D+ MCU shows so they pulled out all the stops for the first episode, which also has a fight scene way more expensive than any action scene we've seen in the rest of the show (or in WandaVision)
