There is something deeply hilarious about how John Walker and the Dora Milaje theoretically want the exact same thing in this scene -- Zemo going back to prison -- but the exact opposite happens because Walker had to put his hand on Ayo's shoulderhttps://twitter.com/perdricof/status/1380951831908614145 …

i mean it's not irrelevant that the dora milaje intend to extradite zemo to wakanda and walker wants to bring him back to the un superjail or whatever which again reveals walker's flaws, his inability to get beyond that "america ie me is in charge and that's Normal"

"I didn't make the call, I just didn't argue with the god who did." Fury, on the other hand is smart enough to know when the USA is not holding a winning hand in a negotiation, and that an earthly prison probably wouldn't hold Loki for long anyway.

considering that fury's formative experience involved an interstellar empire that could squash earth flat and the solar goddess who could squash *them* flat, this makes a lot of sense

People mad that the version of Fury we saw in CM was "neutered" don't really seem to get the idea of a character like that having his own arc That the Nick Fury we meet later on was created by this experience of being a terrified helpless bystander in a cosmic war

Getting to know Nick as this decent, uncomplicated, straightforward guy The guy who still exists somewhere underneath all the scar tissue
