No one EVER amongst gender criticals thought gender critical is a slur I said somewhere in this thread i am not a radical feminist I know this blows your mind, but there are a lot of movements within feminism alone. Though gender critical is NOT a feminist movement in itself

People definitely started to claim that “gender critical” was a slur. It seems to have regained its popularity, though.

I think it's because people such as myself said "fuck this" and started using TERF more again. If we start using GC again, I think they'll decide GC is a slur again.

But you aren’t critical of gender, any more than your feminism is either radical or feminist at all.

But we are, because we think gender is a load of bollocks. Besides being GC i am a feminist but not a radical feminist. There are alot of different submovements in the feminist movement. You know that right?

Gender Critical people never think Gender is bollocks, though. They want to do all the same men/women roles, stereotypes, and restrictions that have always happened, but have them use the word "sex" rather than "gender," which isn't a change or improvement.

See ignorant. We all think gender is complete bollocks especially the old school feminist amongst us because dismantling gender roles is what we have done for DECADES Sex is biology gender is what you identify as. You lot came up with this bullshit.

The definition, as most people understand it, of "sex vs. gender" is that "sex" merely describes a physical biological phenomenon, whereas "gender" is all of the socially constructed expectations derived from that physical phenomenon

Which, fine, sure Except people then always move the goalposts and say "Not ALL those socially constructed expectations are BAD" And then when they say "abolish gender" they mean "only abolish the socially constructed expectations I am opposed to that I think are wrong"

They think some of those expectations are logical and good and right, and therefore exclude them from being called "gender" (even though BY DEFINITION anything to do with how people treat other people is socially constructed and falls under "gender")

The very concept of dividing the population into two separate groups that needs to have two different sets of restrooms and changing rooms to serve them IS GENDER The concept of having two different sports leagues at all IS GENDER

"Male aggression" is sex and that's why we need separate bathrooms. "Men are better at leadership" is gender and thus a stereotype that need to be abolished. They just make it up as they go along.
