Honestly since the very start of transition this has been part of the motivation for being "stealth" in real life - whatever semantic or cultural shifts occur, including a hard conservative turn, if nobody actually knows you're trans you'll find yourself on the right side of them

And the "definition of sex" arguments are so you can avoid having an argument about that statement, which is the actual relevant idea that you believe that drives your actions Because you don't want to "sound bigoted" or get banned from Twitter for bigotry

Here's an idea for Zombie Tronathon, can we just let people tell us who they are and what they need? Like, err on the side of trusting that, if someone's telling you they're a woman, they're a woman?

So, I don't think I've ever talked about this before, but maybe I will. I've gotten really really mad at being categorized as a woman for years. Decades probably. But when I really got pissed off about the bathroom thing was when I was at a very woman-dominated conference.
-
The conference wasn't 100% women, but it was darn close. Probably 90%ish. It was at a hotel. And the bathrooms were gender-segregated. Because of this, the lines for the women's bathrooms got HUGE. The lines for the men's were minuscule.
