You don't see Grace being attacked because you have a mental block against the idea that trans women can experience suffering of any kind, and/or you're just a lying piece of shit

Here's what I'm wondering. You want * Transwomen to have a woman's uterus transplanted into them * Then to have ova donated * Then to be given the cocktail of drugs and surgery needed to make a baby viable * And then finally to terminate the pregnancy Why? Why do you want this?

Same reasons cis women get abortions. It's not that difficult to figure. Pregnancy conceived by rape, pregnancy at the wrong time, other health risks.

Yeah the point is that if human civilization and reprotech continue progressing apace, someday "womb transplants" will be a cheap and routine procedure (really "implants", because synthetic organs will have advanced to the point a transplant isn't necessary)

There's no guarantee this future will come to pass, of course, but any future where this *doesn't* come to pass is likely to be a pretty shitty one -- one where people have been forcibly stopped from trying to solve new medical problems, by one thing or another

(Any future that *doesn't* include routine medical procedures the TERFs and other conservatives find "depraved" is a shitty future With the amount of progress we've made in the last century the only way we wouldn't get there with another 100 years is if we were forcibly blocked)

If 'reprotech' developed to that point the fetus could be gestated externally in a synthetic womb, so the only reason for it to happen in a biologically male body would be to satisfy a fetish.

If that happened I'd be willing to bet there'd still be cis women (people born with XX chromosomes and a uterus) who still had kids the "old-fashioned way", somewhere in the world Would they be doing it out of a "fetish"?

Uterine transplants do exist and are performed, right now, for cis women who are infertile due to uterine agenesis (because they have MRKH or a similar condition) Do those women have a "fetish"?

Usually this isn't their only option for having children -- they could adopt, they could engage a surrogate -- but they want to personally experience gestation and childbirth, and so a very expensive and difficult transplant procedure is done to enable that desire

I don't think there's anything wrong with that, even though it's a desire I can't imagine having myself Because I think for people who do have it it's a core human drive that doesn't admit to rational debate and would be incredibly arrogant to dismiss with a word like "fetish"
