Dozens of people with uteruses have shown up to defend Grace, only to be told by people like you that "No uterus, no opinion" means they have to shut up and let you keep on abusing her Which is a microcosm of how TERFs treat this kind of thing in general

"No uterus, no opinion" was always a shitty motto in general -- I mean *having* a uterus doesn't give you the right to a fucking opinion either, if it's NOT YOUR UTERUS Which is exactly the issue with TERF activism laying claim to other people's bodies and choices

Arthur, mate, when did you decide to become an activist for trans abortions? I understand why abortions are important to a certain type of woman, like Grace - they're somehow gender-affirmative and aspirational. But why are you involved?

Because I give a shit when I see decent people being attacked by bigots

Same reason you're here, to "defend women", except as always you're here to "defend women" who are in the process of attacking

I don't see anyone being attacked mate. And I don't see you defending anyone. I'm still not clear on why you're campaigning for transwomen to be able to have abortions. Does it validate them? Why is that important to you?

You don't see Grace being attacked because you have a mental block against the idea that trans women can experience suffering of any kind, and/or you're just a lying piece of shit

Here's what I'm wondering. You want * Transwomen to have a woman's uterus transplanted into them * Then to have ova donated * Then to be given the cocktail of drugs and surgery needed to make a baby viable * And then finally to terminate the pregnancy Why? Why do you want this?

Same reasons cis women get abortions. It's not that difficult to figure. Pregnancy conceived by rape, pregnancy at the wrong time, other health risks.

Yeah the point is that if human civilization and reprotech continue progressing apace, someday "womb transplants" will be a cheap and routine procedure (really "implants", because synthetic organs will have advanced to the point a transplant isn't necessary)

There's no guarantee this future will come to pass, of course, but any future where this *doesn't* come to pass is likely to be a pretty shitty one -- one where people have been forcibly stopped from trying to solve new medical problems, by one thing or another

(Any future that *doesn't* include routine medical procedures the TERFs and other conservatives find "depraved" is a shitty future With the amount of progress we've made in the last century the only way we wouldn't get there with another 100 years is if we were forcibly blocked)
