She's talking about a world where reprotech is advanced and normalized enough that someone who was born without the ability to get pregnant can acquire it easily and casually enough that unwanted pregnancy and termination among such people is no longer remarkable

Ah, should have known this person was a Brit. The Tories are following as much of the Trump/GOP playbook as they can. Even Labour have inexplicably lurched rightward on many policies - not far from GOP territory on LGBT+ rights, so yes, she's talking pish, as we say in Scotland.

The only reason not to call the Brits wildly conservative on trans rights is that some of them are in the SNP and then it's probably courteous to say the Scots are wildly conservative on trans rights.

I'm not Conservative, but even if I was the Conservatives here are more Liberal than your Democrats. You don't even have maternity rights for women. Abortion access is under constant threat. Sort that out before worrying about male pregnancy.
