I've thought a lot about doing a version of WandaVision that replaces the sitcom thing with slice-of-life anime and how much more relatable that would be to my demographic But I guess that's already been done, as an anime (Satoshi Kon's Paranoia Agent)

I found myself enraptured by the first couple episodes of it, when I caught it late one night on Cartoon Network Watched the rest of it on YouTube a couple years ago, understood about half of it

Not saying it's bad, just saying that was my personal experience with it. I understood about 75% of Utena but I also saw that after I was older and had watched a lot more manga

imo wandavision was mostly great but stumbled right at the end cause for some reason they had the main character do horrifying stuff and face exactly 0 accountability for it it's pretty akward to watch

I loved Paranoia agent. (.. I do also have strong memories of vaguely annoying/bewildering my friend (who'd already seen it) by more-or-less correctly guessing the nature/motive of Bat Boy by episode 2. )

Me: "Oh, I see! He's-- *EXPLANATION REDACTED TO AVOID SPOILING THE ENTIRE DAMN ANIME*." Friend: "HOW."
