Something that annoys me about biozombie fiction is when zombies aren't depicted behaving in ways you know they naturally would Like if your zombie needs to eat, then zombies should also be able to starve to death, a sealed vault full of clickers should eventually just die

But even more annoyingly than that is when zombies don't decay _after_ they're dead you simply don't see skeletons of dead zombies in zombie apocalypse fiction and there's no way that bacteria wouldn't gradually do their thang

One of the many reasons I tend to lose interest in zombie stuff that isn’t necromantic. “It’s magic” can be a lazy answer at times but it does still allow for more possibilities than some kind of specfic virus

I'm a hardliner that magic zombies shouldn't transmit through a bite, though Magic zombies basically run on electricity, it's like if I powered a light bulb by shooting at it

Yeah but vampires are pretty obviously magic and that's transmitted by infection, as are werewolves

BIT aside, I always thought vampires worked better White Wolf style

Yeah if making new vampires can be done accidentally the Masquerade is a much bigger problem
