There's a great story about him watching Seinfeld in the 2000s with his son (Gabe Greenspan, now an actor himself) once he was old enough and his son's like "Dad this show is stupid, you're just playing an a-hole" "Well that a-hole is paying for your college"

You should check him out as Kurros, the Emissary of the Think Tank on Star Trek Voyager He said he really wanted to not be funny in that one and to play a truly creepy menacing villain

A kind of recurring theme for him I think (since the whole deal with playing George is that George frequently does horrifying monstrous things but by the magic of comedy is always pathetic and never genuinely intimidating)

Such a song-and-dance man too!!! Love that he got to show that off in Cinderella and Bye Bye Birdie (yes the remake) but still.

Comedy actors are better at drama than the other way round, most of the time.

Turns out that being able to keep a straight face and memorizing absurd and ridiculous lines means you can handle serious drama really well because it's a lot easier to keep a straight face when the lines aren't full of punchlines.

I remember being really impressed with his performance in 'Love! Valour! Compassion!'.
