Wow you're DEFINITELY not accusing him of being fundamentally evil in some maladaptive act of corncobbing here at all. Because how could a person of color POSSIBLY have justified anger towards violent white supremacists, right?

Apparently you spending 10 hours yelling about "splitting" was pure projection on your part. But at least you're consistent in your belief that marginalized people could not possibly have cause for suspicion if you, a non-marginalized person don't have our esperiences.

I still don't think you know what that word means. It doesn't mean criticizing people. I think you should just google it.

I did. That's how I know you're doing it now and that the people you were accusing of it yesterday were not.

I'm doing it now by... accusing you of "being a Sith Lord" you said?

The Sith Lord thing was hyperbole of exactly the sort you insisted is fair in a good faith argument yesterday when you employed similar hyperbole.

I was genuinely confused by that post. I think I get it now. You thought I was going to call you evil. I don't think you're evil.

I also don't think Arthur's evil. I do think he's extremely unwell and should be in the care of a doctor, but I don't think that qualifies as splitting.

The whole point of that stuff about Lacan's Four Discourses (and Foucault's Discipline and Punish etc) is that the WAY you say things doesn't change WHAT you say "I think you're unwell and need treatment" and "You are CRIMINAL SCUM and should be PUNISHED" aren't truly different

I mean, I don’t think that’s correct. But I think in this particular case I get to the same place via Wittgenstein: words aren’t objective things, but instead are mutually intelligible moves in a sort of game, and in this context that’s the move he’s making via pretend-concern

I don't even get this the worst, Jude Doyle got constant concern trolls of this ilk after having been brave enough to write about his experience with bipolar disorder, including having people right now accuse him of his transition being a manic episode
