More commonly synonyms like "plague" or "disease", but yeah, I'm sure the old terms like "peer pressure", "peer contagion", etc associated with reactionary moral panics come up among the more intellectual ones

This is ridiculous, it rises to the level of gaslighting If you actually read Jesse's own mentions and you look at his own followers absolutely none of the people talking about this in his comments use "contagion" in a neutral sense of the term

Until people started litigating this issue dishonestly the way you're doing right now, they ALWAYS said "It's a social contagion like..." and then started listing shit like bulimia, anorexia, cutting, "suicide clusters"
