The funniest fictional one I've seen is in Burn Notice, where the lead thinks there's a 50% chance a gang boss doesn't drink alcohol, and is willing to bet his life on it.

This doesn't have to do with bad statistic takes, but bad "bet a life on it" takes. In Legally Blonde, the smart law professor asks a student if he would bet his own life or another person's life on his answer to a "who said a quote" question,
