It's not that hard if you think about it to come up with ways someone with Superman's powers could grab some extra cash in ways that would be at worst ethically neutralhttps://twitter.com/wes_chu/status/1372769784899670025 …

Put, like, two satellites in orbit and pocket $120M

Save the planet and don't pollute! Stopping carbon will save the day! Launches to orbit by Superman!

Ooo I'd argue with that one. Still a wrong, and wronging others at the table because it impacts their play as well. Saem with using x-ray to pick winning scratchers. He's picking the winning tix and 'stealing' from others who could've won but now only have loser tix.
-
Enh my reaction is still meh - the expected value of buying into a casino game played fairly is so low the amount you're stealing from your fellow players compared to the house is negligible

I mean it's not something that would work in comics because of the ironic optics but like: Superman can just rob a bank. Break in when it's closed, leave with money long before cops show up. Fuck banks.
-
The existence of a mystery bank robber is gonna have major knock-on effects in terms of the reaction from the industry and the government that he can't control though

I think doing that would just never occur to Clark without someone (Barry) casually mentioning it to him first. By the time he realizes it’s something he could do, Batman would have already routinely used lead-lined cards for JL poker nights & everyone knows he’s a card counter.

I liked the X-Men movies making Quicksilver into a "kleptomaniac" because of the speedster thing It's not even about the money, it's about how intolerably slow it is to have to go through the process of completing a transaction with a cashier instead of just taking the thing

Why even do that? Have him access rare minerals and gems, and precious metals from otherwise impossible to reach locations. Heck, he might even be able to create diamonds from coal or some such shenanigans. There are plenty of significantly less morally grey options.
