I fucking love it, even when we go through bits I find silly, because I've lived long enough to know that things that are actually silly will fade, and that things that aren't will be something I'll soon realize weren't silly at all - I was the one being silly.

This. I was one of those people yelling about all this in previous decades. And it's just so refreshing to see the complete rejection of the idea. I thought I did that! But I couldn't imagine what they can imagine & I didn't even know.
