(That, itself, was intensely meta because this kind of Celebrity Stunt Casting is exactly the kind of thing we associate with 80s/90s TV that ended up getting a big backlash and harshly parodied on the Simpsons etc)

And yeah I gotta once more say the hair people are the unsung heroes of this show and a huge part of what makes it work is Wanda and Vision seamlessly changing style and length every week in a way only made practical by the most advanced wig technology known to science

(In and of itself it's this huge visual joke that within two days Wanda switches from her fussy high-maintenance 50s perm to fucking *waist-length* 70s hippie hair that's never been touched by a drop of chemicals)
