As fun as it is to dunk on the Four I unironically think the first part of this is a really clever way to add them to the current MCUhttps://twitter.com/damnyouwillis/status/1369483488563503105 …

It is kind of fundamentally unfair that the first three get to turn off their powers and be normal when they feel like it and Thing is just permanently a rock monster, I think a lot of the deconstructions just take that away

The Incredibles is kind of a pastiche. Syndrome is the best Dr. Doom ever, especially since his motivation is revenge over an incident that was entirely his own fault.

I'm fond of
@PatMillsComics Marshall Law satire of Marvel, in which a delusional Reed Richards chats with his "invisible" wife (and has his floppy arm in a sling) and Johnny is literally permanently on fire... -
And, of course, Norm McDonald. But these rely on a cultural knowledge of F4's origins and powers that hasn't been reflected in their popularity since, to be generous, the 80's cartoon.

I've probably thought too much about how Reed Richards can stretch his limbs but still simultaneously flex muscles in those limbs. How can there be tension and rubbery stretchy flexibility at the same time? For some reason I can't suspend my disbelief with that power specifically
-
Fire guy? Sure, why not. Invisible girl? Whatever. But stretchy guy who can stretch out and wave at you? The fuck?!
