It's not that I can't think of a way to write the ending of WandaVision so the Evan Peters Quicksilver is the first refugee from the X-Men alternate universe literally crossing over into the MCU by magic It's that it's very hard to imagine Feige actually greenlighting this ideahttps://twitter.com/owillis/status/1369419644310876178 …

Also, you have to deal with the Bryan Singer baggage.

No but a lot of good things come from bad movies.

Logan is better than every MCU film. Days of Future Past is as good as the best MCU films. We don't need to cross over the entire universe, we just want one of the best comic book >movie character adaptations to continue. MCU already tried to better Evan's Quicksilver and failed.

Logan is indeed better than most superhero movies but, sadly, they went and said Logan is not "canon" to the main X-verse anyway (This is why I find continuity tiring)

How can people be surprised when Marvel's announced their next 24 projects, which have nothing to do with mutants? WandaVision set up a lot that they will probably touch on. A lot of spy stuff, magic, reality hopping and comedy in their upcoming slate. But X-Men isn't feasible.

I don't need the X-Men movies to come back, I just need Ralph Bohner to stick around
-
The best way to keep Quicksilver in the story I could think of would be to say that Fake Pietro wasn't actually Pietro in any sense but when Agatha was looking for someone to play the part she found someone with a superspeed X-gene and activated it

logan and first class are the only remotely good ones. a new canon is really the only way to make this work and remove bryan singer's stench from it

I don't want to bring it back, certainly not as an ongoing status quo, but I think it'd be fun if they really committed to the idea that all that was out there in the Marvel multiverse, somewhere. And then we can move on.
-
Really, though, the main thing I want is for them to stop TEASING the multiverse and just DO it. I respect the story choice they made with Ralph. But it was also frustrating when put alongside the fact that it felt like a repeat of the Far From Home "twist".
