Like, a cat with bare legs and a hairy crotch just draws attention to the crotch in a way that I don't need my attention drawn (I think this is the evolutionary purpose of human-like hair patterns -- maybe not drawing the gaze so much as retaining scent)

I dunno this cat with human hair just made human hair seem extra gross by looking at him Like how the "hairless" parts of him weren't *completely* hairless, he had like that stripe of belly fur going from the chest down to the groin
