Usually with a narcissistic abuser, not a PTSD one. Trauma abuse survivors who pull this shit, kinda are both facets. It's NOT mpd, but I think it's often misdiagnosed as such.

But again, that never absolves accountability. There can be mitigations where we understand the WHY of the person, but it doesn't absolve them of the accountability of them being an abuser to others just because they were hurt.
