there is a way, its called puberty blockers, the way exists and it works!! in fact, puberty blockers are given to cis children for "precocious pubert"y all the time!! but you only rail against blockers when it's trans kids trying to have a say over their own lives

I mean, sometimes a kid may not be sure and need a pause button to let them think without worsening dysphoria symptoms. Mandating that the period where a patient only qualifies to be on blockers extends into adulthood is inhumane.
-
Just as precocious puberty has medical consequences, delayed or absent puberty is also a treatable medical issue with its own consequences. Trans youth should be eligible to elect to undergo puberty with their peers.

I doubt I can find it again, but one of her tweets did say "can transition at 16"
-
And one says change their sex at 16, so she's definitely not just talking about social transition.
