There's a lot of stupid bullshit in our society based on accidents of chemistry Like the fact that THC is fat-soluble and stays in your body for a long time means that cannabis *automatically* becomes the "worst" drug in terms of testing, regardless of what it actually doeshttps://twitter.com/BuddyNoLove/status/1364746590381092871 …

Cannabis? If you were a regular user before you stopped, it can take ELEVEN WEEKS for the THC to clear You could straight up have come to Jesus on Halloween and lived completely drug-free since then and on Christmas the test will still say you're a filthy pothead

And, you know, cannabis advocates bring this up a lot but it's true Good old alcohol is one of the worst drugs in terms of how much it impairs your judgment and is linked to violence, especially because of how easy and cheap it is to obtain in large quantities

And it's undetectable with traditional urinalysis after *12 hours* As any hardcore drunk knows, you can still be feeling a hangover 2-3x as long as that after a bender (residual toxins in your brain) while your urine test and breathalyzer says you're completely clean

(The only time I have ever seen "drugs" actually affect someone's work to the point of putting people in danger the drug was just alcohol, and from talking to people I would bet this is true of like 80-90% of all such situations)

I've know several people who have been put on probation for drunk driving. They couldn't smoke weed anymore because of the tests, so they drank more to compensate. Every one of them had a worse alcohol problem when probation was over.

As a former addict, you can flush oxy or tar in like 36 hours. Which is in some ways how I went from pot to opiates.
